Uses & Instructions

Vaginal Douche: Minimizes irritation, vaginal cavity infections, reduces discharge. Can be mixed with Rose Water.
- A vaginal douche of the infusion is excellent for treating vaginal discharges and excessive itching in the vaginal cavity.
Lotion: Treats rashes in diseases like Eczema, heals cuts, wounds, external sores and various insect bites.
Ointment:
- The lady’s mantle based ointment can be used in gaining relief from vaginal itching, the herbal ointment can be used at 50 gram ointment base combined with 20 ml rosewater and about 15 ml of the infusion or tincture. This combination formula can be rubbed onto affected areas of the body during the night and in the morning to gain relief from problems.
Tincture:
- 2 ml. or 40 drops may be taken for stomach problems and diarrhea 3 times per day.
- Treats menstrual pain and period irregularities as well as all problems related to menopause.
- A tincture of the leaves has been given in cases of spasmodic or convulsive diseases, and an old authority states that if placed under the pillow at night, the herb will promote quiet sleep.
Mouthwash: Treats bleeding gums, mouth ulcers, minimizes symptoms of sore throat.
- An herbal lady’s mantle mouthwash or gargle can be made from diluted infusion for treating cases of sore throats, problems like laryngitis, and cases of mouth ulcers in patients.
Herbal Wash: A lady’s mantle based herbal wash can be made by diluting the infusion and applying it externally for treating weeping eczema or sores on the skin.
Infusion:
- An infusion of 200 ml. 3 times per day brigs relief to heavy menstrual bleeding.
- Also, an infusion 1 OZ. of the dried herb to 1 pint of boiling water in teacupful doses can be used to treat heavy menstrual bleeding and the same infusion is also employed as an injection.
- Acute Symptoms of Gastroenteritis & Diarrhea: Take infusion up to five times per day.
Suppositories: Applicable for treatment vaginal discharges and itching in the vagina.
- Combine twenty drops of lady’s mantle tincture in twenty grams of cocoa butter for about twelve to sixteen suppositories - based on what mold size is needed for the treatment.
Fluid Extract: Dosage - 1/2 to 1 drachma.
